Next, the Mariners encounter the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a North Hills test, on Friday, January 10. Pacifica will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Aztecs come into the test with a 12-7 record after their 72-59 non-league loss to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA).

The Vanguards (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Wildcats come into the North Hills test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Brea Olinda went down by Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA), 59-50, in a league test.
