The Hermitage Hermits basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Emerson Pirates to 64 in the Hermits league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hermits now possess a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bearden for a 1A Region 8 game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Emerson falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Pirates host Bradley (Bradley, AR) to confront the Bears in a 1A Region 8 game on Thursday, January 9. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-11.
