In Tuesday's league contest, the host Etowah Eagles basketball team scored a big 68-34 win over the North Paulding Wolfpack.
The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils come into the AAAAAA Region 5 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Marietta smashed Galloway (Atlanta, GA), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolfpack battle the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 contest, on Thursday, January 9. North Paulding will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 93-57 league win over Cherokee (Canton, GA).
