The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) and the visiting Filer Wildcats (Filer, ID), observed Sugar-Salem's basketball team knock off Filer by a score of 50-37.

The Diggers (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kimberly (Kimberly, ID). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Gooding Senators (Gooding, ID) in a 4A South East Idaho challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Filer will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 68-19 non-league win over Hansen (Hansen, ID).
