The Redbugs (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR). The Panthers go into the 2A Region 8 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Magnet Cove smashed Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR), 40-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR) in a 2A Region 8 contest, on Friday, January 10. Ouachita will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 62-53 league loss to Junction City (Junction City, AR).
