The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Newmarket Mules (Newmarket, NH) and the host Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH), observed Newmarket's basketball team overwhelm Franklin by a margin of 58-36.

The Mules (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunapee (Sunapee, NH). The Lakers come into the Division IV challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Sunapee was trounced by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH), 52-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the Pittsfield Panthers (Pittsfield, NH) in a Division IV challenge, on Friday, January 10. Franklin will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 52-37 league win over Sunapee (Sunapee, NH).
