The Lions (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX). The Pirates come into the 4A Region IV District 32 contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Hidalgo dropped by Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX), 43-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the battle the South Texas Christian Academy Panthers (McAllen, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 5 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Harvest Christian will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 54-38 non-league win over IDEA College Prep (Alamo, TX).
