The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) and the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), observed Homer-Center's basketball team knock off Marion Center by a score of 61-49.

The Wildcats (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA). The Colts come into the Heritage challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Northern Cambria prevailed over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA), 63-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Stingers battle the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Marion Center will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 76-65 league loss to United (Armagh, PA).
