The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) and the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), observed Pickens's basketball team overwhelm Johnson by a score of 87-30.

The Dragons (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans come into the AAA Region 6 challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Greater Atlanta Christian trounced White County (Cleveland, GA), 84-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) in a AAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Johnson will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 72-36 league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
