In Tuesday's league test, the Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) basketball squad defeated the visiting Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), by a score of 74-55.

Next, the Lakers clash with the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 10. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Fighting Saints come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN).

The Sting (2-7) will now prepare for their test against MACCRAY (Clara City, MN). The Wolverines come into the A Section 3 test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, MACCRAY went down by Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN), 65-52, in a league test.
