South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA), 63-33 in a league match.

With the victory, South Side advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Rams travel to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-6. Riverside won 56-37 in their recent league match against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA)

The Spartans now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neshannock for a WPIAL 2A 4 match on Friday, January 10. Laurel will face a Lancers squad coming off a 88-34 league win over Western Beaver (Industry, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 9-1.
