The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) basketball toppled the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), 70-56 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Griffins now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Homewood-Flossmoor for a SouthWest Suburban bout on Friday, January 10. Lincoln-Way East will play a Vikings team coming off a 91-31 league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Lincoln-Way West falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL) to play the Boilermakers in a SouthWest Suburban bout on Friday, January 10. The Boilermakers go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Bradley-Bourbonnais won 57-31 in their recent league bout against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL)
