The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) and the visiting Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX), observed Lone Oak's basketball team overwhelm Prairiland by a margin of 59-35.

The Buffaloes (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region II District 12 challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Chisum trounced Prairiland (Pattonville, TX), 55-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Prairiland will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 75-28 league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX).
