The Sparta Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Lowell Red Arrows to 48 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Coopersville for a River Cities game on Friday, January 10. Sparta will confront a Broncos team coming off a 58-54 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Lowell falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Red arrows travel to Holland Christian (Holland, MI) to confront the Maroons in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Maroons go into the game with a record of 6-3. Holland Christian won 63-48 in their recent non-league game against Holland (Holland, MI)
