With the loss, Petal falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pearl (Pearl, MS) to play the Pirates in a 7A Region 3 bout on Thursday, January 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Pearl lost 63-51 in their recent league bout against Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS)
