In Tuesday's league contest, the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen basketball team scored a big 77-27 triumph over the Sheldon Orabs.
The Dutchmen (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Le Mars smashed Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Orabs confront the Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) in a Siouxland contest, on Friday, January 10. Sheldon will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 59-51 league loss to Okoboji (Milford, IA).
