Next, the Panthers encounter the Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. Pine Grove will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 62-56 league win over Ashland (Ashland, MS).

The Hawks (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Ingomar went down by Biggersville (Corinth, MS), 67-57, in a non-league test.
