The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) and the host North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), observed North Lincoln's basketball team overwhelm North Iredell by a score of 88-47.
The Knights (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians come into the 3A Western Foothills challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, St. Stephens was routed by Hickory (Hickory, NC), 78-73, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a 3A Western Foothills challenge, on Thursday, January 9. North Iredell will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Red Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 78-73 league win over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC).
