The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets basketball team scored 83 points and limited the visiting Wolverine Wildcats to 53 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harbor Light Christian for a Northern Lakes game on Friday, January 10. North Michigan Christian Academy will confront a Swordsmen team coming off a 95-9 league win over Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI). The Swordsmen record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Wolverine falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI) to confront the Lancers in a Northern Lakes game on Thursday, January 9. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 4-4. Ellsworth lost 50-29 in their recent non-league game against Alcona (Lincoln, MI)
