Next, the Cadets encounter the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. St. Thomas Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Zephyrs come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 67-47 non-league win over South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN).

The Polars (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Raiders come into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Hastings beat Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 73-41, in a non-league test.
