In Tuesday's league contest, the host Palacios Sharks basketball team scored a good 47-31 win over the Tidehaven Tigers.

The Sharks (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Brahmas come into the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, Hallettsville was topped by Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX), 30-23, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 contest, on Friday, January 10. Tidehaven will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 13-6 record after their 78-62 league win over Columbus (Columbus, TX).
