In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Pelahatchie Chiefs basketball team scored a big 84-21 triumph over the Puckett Wolves.
The Chiefs (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Raleigh (Raleigh, MS). The Lions go into the 2A Region 6 contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Raleigh smashed Pisgah (Sandhill, MS), 54-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) in a 2A Region 6 contest, on Friday, January 10. Puckett will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 64-27 league win over Pisgah (Sandhill, MS).
