In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Shades Valley Mounties basketball team scored a good 53-33 triumph over the Pell City Panthers.
The Mounties (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 19-2 record.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) in a 6A Area 11 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Pell City will attempt to better on its 1-17 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 65-49 league win over Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL).
