The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Section Lions (Section, AL) and the visiting Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL), observed Section's basketball team knock off Pisgah by a score of 65-56.

The Lions (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Bison come into the 2A Area 16 challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, North Sand Mountain prevailed over Dade County (Trenton, GA), 73-68, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Moore County Raiders (Lynchburg, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Pisgah will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
