The Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA) basketball edged the host The Cambridge School Griffins (San Diego, CA), 49-46 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tritons now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Morse for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Preuss UCSD will play a Tigers team coming off a 64-60 non-league win over Calvin Christian (Escondido, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, The Cambridge School falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Bonsall (Bonsall, CA) to play the Legionnaires in a Summit bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Legionnaires go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Bonsall lost 68-8 in their recent non-league bout against Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA)
