In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Randolph Cardinals basketball team scored a good 47-37 triumph over the Walthill Blujays.
The Cardinals (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Winside (Winside, NE). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Winside was topped by Madison (Madison, NE), 68-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blujays confront the Bloomfield Bees (Bloomfield, NE) in a D1 District 7 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Walthill will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Bees go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 53-27 league loss to Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE).
