The The Pingry School Big Blue basketball squad (Martinsville, NJ), was nudged 43-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ)

With the victory, Ridge advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Red Devil travel to Livingston (Livingston, NJ) to meet the Lancers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. The Lancers enter the battle with a record of 5-1. Livingston won 76-50 in their recent non-league battle against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ)

The Big Blue now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgewater-Raritan for a Skyland - Raritan battle on Thursday, January 9. The Pingry School will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 50-38 non-league win over Somerville (Somerville, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
