Next, the Spartans encounter the Ellsworth Panthers (Ellsworth, WI) in a Middle Border test, on Friday, January 10. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 72-65 league win over Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI).

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Altoona (Altoona, WI). The Railroaders come into the Middle Border test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Altoona was knocked off by Prescott (Prescott, WI), 73-67, in a league test.
