The Valley Cavaliers basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Temple Academy Bereans to 50 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Hills for a D South game on Thursday, January 9. Valley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 57-44 league win over Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Temple Academy falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Bereans host Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME) to confront the Eagles in a D South game on Thursday, January 9. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-3. Islesboro Central won 36-22 in their recent league game against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME)
