In Tuesday's league contest, the host Woodsboro Eagles basketball team scored a good 57-44 triumph over the Three Rivers Bulldogs.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Lions go into the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Kenedy topped Pettus (Pettus, TX), 64-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 contest, on Friday, January 10. Three Rivers will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 60-28 league loss to Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX).
