California High School Basketball - Pacifica nips El Modena

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Pacifica Mariners basketball team scored a close 55-53 triumph over the El Modena Vanguards.
The Mariners (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs go into the contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Esperanza was tipped by Valencia (Placentia, CA), 55-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vanguards battle the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) in a contest, on Friday, January 24. El Modena will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
