The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles come into the AAAA Region 4 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Gray Collegiate Academy prevailed over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 67-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Midland Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 45-42 league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
