The Hidden Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Ashland Grizzlies to 31 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Phoenix for a 4A Skyline game on Thursday, January 9. Hidden Valley will confront a Pirates team coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Ashland falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Churchill (Eugene, OR) to confront the Lancers in a 5A Midwestern game on Friday, January 10. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 1-10. Churchill lost 72-41 in their recent non-league game against Gresham (Gresham, OR)
