The Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) basketball edged the host Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 34-32 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host North Polk for a Raccoon River bout on Friday, January 10. Carroll will play a Comets team coming off a 62-27 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Comets record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Ballard falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Winterset (Winterset, IA) to play the Huskies in a Raccoon River bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-5.
