The Washburn Castle Guards basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Bayfield Trollers to 30 in the Castle Guards league triumph on Tuesday.

The Castle Guards now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Butternut for a Northern Lights game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Bayfield drops to 1-9 on the year. The Trollers travel to Mellen (Mellen, WI) to face the Granite Diggers in a Northern Lights match on Friday, January 10. The Granite Diggers enter the match with a record of 5-4. Mellen lost 65-34 in their recent non-league match against Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI)
