In Tuesday's league contest, the host Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored a big 63-42 triumph over the Sioux City West Wolverines.
The Crusaders (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Maroons go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Dowling Catholic smashed Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA), 69-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Sioux City West will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 76-50 non-league win over Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA).
