Nebraska High School Basketball - Giltner trounced by Blue Hill

The Giltner Hornets basketball squad (Giltner, NE), was crushed 58-19 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE)

With the victory, Blue Hill advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Bobcats host Silver Lake (Roseland, NE) to meet the Mustangs in a D2 District 5 battle on Friday, January 10. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 7-2. Silver Lake won 45-36 in their recent non-league battle against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE)

The Hornets now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence-Nelson for a D2 District 5 battle on Thursday, January 9. Giltner will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 3-6.
