In Tuesday's league contest, the host Clear Creek Wildcats basketball team scored a big 85-17 triumph over the Brazoswood Buccaneers.

The Wildcats (21-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Chargers go into the 6A Region III District 24 contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Clear Springs was trounced by Deer Park (Deer Park, TX), 60-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) in a 6A Region III District 24 contest, on Friday, January 10. Brazoswood will attempt to better on its 5-20 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 24-2 record after their 78-49 league win over Clear Lake (Houston, TX).
