The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) and the visiting Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA), observed Frederica Academy's basketball team overwhelm Bulloch Academy by a score of 63-30.
The (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA). The Wildcats come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Westminster Schools of Augusta trounced Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA), 44-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Bulloch Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 65-14 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA).
