Louisiana High School Basketball - Catholic of Pointe Coupee routs Louisiana School for the Deaf

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets basketball team scored a big 57-6 triumph over the Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles.
The Hornets (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders enter the 1A District 5 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Westminster Academy walloped Crowley (Crowley, LA), 51-44, in a non-league battle.
The War Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Private for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. Louisiana School for the Deaf will meet a Redhawks squad coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redhawks record now stands at 5-6.
