Next, the Mavericks clash with the Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 test, on Friday, January 10. Emerson will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Redhawks come into the test with a 14-12 record after their 28-24 league loss to Memorial (Frisco, TX).

The Titans (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes come into the 5A Region II District 11 test with a 11-15 record. In their last test, Heritage beat Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX), 53-31, in a league test.
