Texas High School Basketball - Harper triumphant over Center Point

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX) and the host Center Point Pirates (Center Point, TX), observed Harper's basketball team overwhelm Center Point by a score of 69-27.

The Longhorns (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against San Saba (San Saba, TX). The Armadillos come into the 2A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, San Saba trounced Junction (Junction, TX), 65-14, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Center Point will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Punchers come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 56-51 league loss to Johnson City (Johnson City, TX).
