The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL) and the visiting Central Lions (Hayneville, AL), observed Highland Home's basketball team overwhelm Central by a score of 58-7.
The Flying Squadron (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Blacksher (Uriah, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Area 5 challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Blacksher was routed by Thomasville (Thomasville, AL), 52-24, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL) in a 2A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
