The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) and the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS), observed Forrest County Agricultural's basketball team edge Columbia by a margin of 61-57.

The Aggies (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Cougars come into the 4A Region 7 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Lawrence County edged Sumrall (Sumrall, MS), 49-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Columbia will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 34-22 league loss to Greene County (Leakesville, MS).
