The Veritas Academy basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Concordia Cardinals to 16 in the league triumph on Tuesday.

The now have a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Round Rock Christian Academy for a TAPPS 4A District 4 game on Saturday, January 11. Veritas Academy will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 61-7 league loss to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Concordia falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX) to confront the Rangers in a TAPPS 4A District 4 game on Thursday, January 9. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 16-2. Texas School for the Deaf won 40-36 in their recent league game against Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX)
