In Tuesday's league contest, the host Coosa Christian Conquerors basketball team scored a good 52-37 triumph over the Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles.
The Conquerors (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Sand Rock topped Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL), 58-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL) in a 1A Area 11 contest, on Friday, January 17. Jefferson Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record.
