The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Christian (Panama City, FL) and the visiting Wewahitchka Gators (Wewahitchka, FL), observed Covenant Christian's basketball team knock off Wewahitchka by a score of 40-28.

The (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Florida Baptist Academy (Milton, FL). The Conquerors come into the Panhandle Christian challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, West Florida Baptist Academy prevailed over Santa Rosa Christian (Milton, FL), 57-14, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators encounter the Poplar Springs Atomics (Graceville, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Wewahitchka will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Atomics come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 60-15 league loss to Bethlehem (Bonifay, FL).
