In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders basketball team scored a close 65-59 triumph over the Roseville Raiders.
The Raiders (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbury (Woodbury, MN). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Woodbury nipped Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) in a AAAA Section 4 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Roseville will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Ponies go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 59-21 non-league win over Irondale (New Brighton, MN).
