The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) and the visiting Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), observed Grady's basketball team overwhelm Dawson by a score of 58-21.

The Wildcats (9-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 6 challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Sands was routed by Borden County (Gail, TX), 46-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Dawson will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 69-23 league loss to Klondike (Lamesa, TX).
