California High School Basketball - Desert Christian triumphant over Faith Baptist

January 7, 2025: Lancaster, CA 93536

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA), observed Desert Christian's basketball team overwhelm Faith Baptist by a margin of 49-19.

The Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA). The Crusaders come into the Heritage challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, St. Monica Academy trounced Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA), 40-20, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Contenders battle the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars (Palmdale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Faith Baptist will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 76-33 non-league loss to Desert (Edwards AFB, CA).
